Return & Exchange Policy

At Homycasa Project (A Homy Casa Brand), we specialize in professional, scenario-based furniture solutions. Our goal is to provide high-quality products and transparent services. By placing an order on our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Order Cancellation Policy

  • In-Stock Items (Pre-Shipment): You may cancel any in-stock order for a full refund at any time before it leaves our warehouse.

  • In-Stock Items (Post-Shipment): Once a package has been dispatched from any of our four U.S. warehouses (CA, MI, SC, TX), any cancellation request will incur all shipping-related costs, including original freight, carrier interception fees, and return shipping fees.

  • Custom & Made-to-Order Items: These products are manufactured specifically for your project.

    • 24-Hour Window: Full refund for cancellations made within 24 hours of order placement.

    • Production in Progress: If production has started but is not finished, a 20% restocking fee applies.

    • Production Completed: If production is finished but the item has not shipped, a 40% restocking fee applies.

    • In Transit: If the order is cancelled while in transit, a 60% restocking fee applies.

2. Damage Assessment & Resolution

We take great care in packaging, but if an item arrives damaged, please contact project@homycasa.com within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the damage and all packaging materials.

  • Minor Damage: For cosmetic issues that do not affect the structural integrity or functional use, we will provide professional repair guidance, replacement parts, or a partial refund proportional to the damage.

  • Major Damage: If the item is rendered completely unusable or structurally compromised, we will offer a full refund or a free replacement at no additional cost to you.

3. "Change of Mind" Returns (In-Stock Only)

  • Eligibility: Only non-customized products are eligible for return within 30 days of receipt.

  • Condition: Items must be in brand-new, uninstalled condition, in original packaging, and including all hardware and manuals.

  • Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for the return shipping cost and assumes all risks of transit damage during the return.

4. Non-Returnable Items (Post-Receipt)

Once an order has been successfully delivered and signed for, the following items are strictly non-returnable:

  • Custom Furniture: All items tailored to your specific "Scenario Collection" requirements.

  • Final Sale Items: Products marked as clearance or final sale.

  • Normal Wear & Tear: Items showing signs of use or minor wear over time.

5. Refund Process

  • Method: All approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during checkout.

  • Timeline: Refunds are typically processed within 10 business days after our inspection team confirms the return or damage status.

  • Support: If you haven't received your refund within 15 business days after approval, please contact us at project@homycasa.com.

    • Post-Shipment (In-Stock): Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for carrier interception fees and return freight.

    • Custom Items: 20% - 60% Restocking Fee (Applies once production starts, 24 hours after order placement).

  • Item Condition: New, unopened, and in original packaging.

  • Refund Processing Time: Within 10 business days after inspection.

Note on Refusal: Since refusal occurs only at the time of delivery, it is treated as a high-cost cancellation.

  • In-Stock Items: If you refuse a delivery for non-quality reasons, the original shipping fee and the return freight will be deducted from your refund.

  • Custom Items: Refusing a custom order at the door will trigger the 60% restocking fee, as the item has already been manufactured and transported specifically for you.

  • Damaged Goods: If you see visible damage to the box, please accept the delivery first, take photos, and contact project@homycasa.com. Directly refusing the shipment often complicates the insurance claim and delays your replacement/refund.
